DPR commission files 2,500 Ukrainian fighters’ crimes in Donbass
The DPR Special Commission investigating Ukrainian authorities’ crimes in Donbass has filed more than 2,500 cases over civilian casualties, illegal detentions and property destruction relying on evidence in the period since June 2014, the Republic’s Foreign Ministry press service reported on Wednesday.
“As of February 22, 2017, the Commission has filed 2,528 cases (on the strength of evidence gathered from June 2014 through January 2017),” the press service said.
The Commission has 336 cases of war-related civilian fatalities, 690 injured civilians cases, 31 child death cases, and 101 injured children cases. There are 29 cases of illegally detained civilians, three cases of illegally detained militiamen and 1,308 property damage cases, according to the ministry.
The cases were listed ahead of being handed over to the Public Commission.
Earlier, the Acting DPR Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova told that the Special Commission had recorded nearly all war crimes committed in 2014 and 2015.
