‘Goodbye, Mr. War President’ — a flash-mob supporting Donbass held in Athens

Following the inauguration of the new U.S. President Donald Trump there was held a flash-mob «Goodbye, Mr. War President» in front of the U.S. Embassy in Greece. This event was organized by the public organizations “The Russian Athens” and “The Fyodor Dostoyevsky society” which not once have expressed their support of the Donbass Republics, reported the member of the LPR Federation Council of labor unions, the chairman of labor union “Innovatsiya” (Innovation) Andrey Kochetov.

The activists have brought balloons of black color and pictures of the children with names.

“We have gathered today to say goodbye to the president Obama who had come to power with the promise to stop the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. But now, at the end of his presidency, America is waging already eight wars in different countries. We have come to say goodbye to the president who creates wars. We have come here because we want peace in Donbass, in Syria, in the countries of the Mediterranean world,” said the leader of ” The Fyodor Dostoyevsky society” Andreas Zafiris.

Andrey Kochetov noted, Andreas had already several times visited Lugansk and Donetsk and does much to break through an information blockade regarding Donbass.

Previously, Andreas helped a lot of times to collect humanitarian aid to the people in the war-torn Donbass.

At the end of the flash-mob the participants launched black balloons into the sky.
